My Sony A7s Landscape Portfolio

Hi there!

I thought, I'd share some of my newer landscape-pictures I shot with my almost one year old A7s. I switched from a Canon 5Diii to the Sony A7s, regularly using my old Canon lenses and some newer Sonys.

One of the first pictures I took with my new camera. It's Austria's Hallstatt Village.

Also, since I own the A7s, I really got into night-photography. Here's Europes "highest" church at the top of the Dobratsch-Mountain in Carinthia, Austria, and some other random shot at the Sommeralm in Styria.

I'll add more from time to time :)

Thanks for the kind words so far :)

Here's something "a litte more special": Fireflies in a nearby forrest. It was kinda scary, walking through the woods all alone as it wasn't as bright as it seemed to be in the picture.

Plus some other milky-way-shot I took during the "pleyades-shooting star season" last year.

Hi there and thanks!

If I remember right, the astroshots have all been done with the Sony 28mm 2.0, the firefly/fireworks-thing with the 55mm 1.8 Zeiss and the windturbines with my trusty 135mm 2.0 (plus 2x converter) Canon lens.

Nice work. Thanks for sharing. What are your typical settings for milky way shots? I sold my A7ii and I'm now deciding whether to immediately buy an A7S (reasonable price used) or save a bit more for the A7Sii. Your input will be appreciated!

Long time no see :)
@AL PHA

As A7s I user I don't see a reason to change to the A7sII. Lossless Raw would be the only one I guess cause startrails look kinda ugly with tha A7s, especially while pixel-peeping.

I bought a Sony 16-35mm last Friday and had "a little luck" with it on my weekend-mountain-trip :D

Long time no see!

I'll post some of my shots from my recent Soutwestern US trip. I own a A7r too since about a year so the topic-name isn't 100% correct anymore :)
