Info for all who are interested in Nikon to Sony adapter

I wrote to Commlite and asked if the new Nikon to Sony adapter ist firmware upgradeable. Here ist the answer:

Yes, don't worry, you can update the firmware from the PC end.

Are we talking about the new AF adapter or the old one I have that does not need any firmware?

Only the new AF adapter.  The other non-electronic adapter has nothing to update, in terms of firmware.  Its all mechanical interfaces.

Nice but could not see where one would connect the adapter to update the firmware.  None of the available image showed any external connection (e.g., Metabones).
