I went to see BWB featuring Norman Brown, Kirk Whalum and Rick Braun at the Lyman Center.  I brought along a Sony a7r2 mounted with a 70-200mm 4.0 along with a Batis 85m 1.8.  Most images were shot at 6400 ISO as the light was somewhat on the dim side.  Did shoot wide open on the 70-200 and on the Batis, I tried f stops between 1.8 - 3.5.  In the raw images, the Batis is noticeably sharper and also has better color and contrast.  Really like that lens the more I use it.  Surprisingly, focusing was pretty darn respectful - set on continuous, face recognition on.  Here is the link to the full set of images https://stillsandvideo.squarespace.com/blog/bwb

Here's one sample from the set:

These are some nice shots. But, would love to see which ones are captured with Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8 (with used shutter speed, ISO and F-Number ) and vice versa.

Cheers,

Hi Tarkan,

I've just added the EXIF information to the images posted on the blog.  Also a small snippet of video from the a7r2.  Really didn't intend on doing video at all but did hit the button on occasion.  Just visit the link again for the updated info on each images.  https://stillsandvid...ce.com/blog/bwb

Hi again Ptortora,

Thank you very much for adding the EXIF & lens info! Really appreciated that. BTW, the video is as good as the stills. Both (stills and video) made me feel I was there. Also, I have to say that I'm very much impressed by the high ISO performance of this camera! All the images (including video) were crisp, full of fine details and excellent colors.

Cheers,

Tarkan
