Young and old Mallee Rigneck Parrot

We have had the adults come to a tree that in in next doors yard but hangs over to our side and the bird just love the olives on this tree.

Then the other day I heard a sound that didn't ring a bell to me. I soon fould out the it was a pair of you ones which must have only been out of the nest in the last couple of days. Their sound was more squeacky than the adult call.

So in I went and got a few shots of this pair.

But I thought I would show the adult and the younger one. To me the colour is less viberant than in the adults plumage.

Though I am happy with the shot I still need to get  just got it so right shot.
