Hey guys,

finally decided to join this forum too. I shoot with E-mount cameras since the NEX-5 back in 2010. Currently, I'm shooting a NEX-7, with which I'm perfectly happy.

I don't intend to bore you with more words here, so I'll just share a couple of photos I took the past years to introduce you to my work. If you want to know anything about me or my work, please feel free to ask.

They are all interesting, the gig shoots have a proper atmosphere, but especially i'd love to hear how you've accomplished the low-pov shoot's smooth bokeh balls in the air and ground.

thanks!

Hey frosti7,

the bokeh was actually achieved using a software in post processing. It's a realistic tilt shift effect, made with onOne's Perfect Effects 8 (the paid version has tons of options to do whatever you like). The hard part is getting the stars and drops of water bright enough in-camera, because otherwise the algorithm won't be able to properly see them. If you are a purist, you can get a similar effect using an actual tilt shift lens, but as I don't have one, software was my weapon of choice.

You're photos are beautiful. I would love to know your set-up and exposure values for the celestial shots. I too love my Nex7, much to the disappointment of my little-used Nex6...

Also, the night flower shot...incredible!

Regards
