A6000 raw WiFi transfer vs. jpeg transfer

Recommended Posts

Sorry about the weird title I wasn't sure how best to phrase this.

I'd like to shoot more photos and edit them on the go on my phone. Normally I just shoot raw to cut down on full post process procedure. But the WiFi transfer only sends jpegs.

My question is, is the jpeg conversion after the fact from a raw file that's WiFi transfered any different than the jpeg created if the camera was set to take jpegs from the start?

Should be easy enough to figure out by loading JPEGs from both "paths" in LR (or what ever) and comparing the histogram (and file size).
