Sigma 19mm for a6000

Was wondering if anyone has experience with the Sigma 19mm on their a6000?

I have it and use it on the NEX-6, a6000's predecessr. Works well, just AF is not very fast (but no slower than with any other lens).

Agree, it's head and shoulders above the Sony 16/2.8. Can't comment about the 20 though.

I have it, and I like it. Can't beat its image quality for the price.  I don't use it as much as my Sigma 30, but that's due to focal length.  Here's a sample image I just uploaded to the gallery.  Only adjustments were some light cropping and boosting of the shadows.

Sigmas are my Fav lens for my A6000! Sharp and best bang for the money

+1 on that.  The E mount Sigmas are great value.

Do you think that the 20mm Sony is Far behind the Sigma 19mm or quite equivalent ?

Sony 20mm isn't too far behind the Sigma and the smaller size is a huge advantage

I have 30mm Sigma and A6000, sharp and color reality of the Sigma is best for that price

I purchased both the Sigma 19mm and Sony 20mm and tested them side by side on the Sony A6000.

My conclusion was that the Sigma had very little if any IQ advantage over the Sony and a noticeable AF deficiency and it was larger.

I returned the Sigma

I compare Sigma 30mm/2.8 and Sony 30mm/3.5 and Sigma wins. Better IQ
