Why does Sony RAW files viewed in Lightroom look so awful?

When I open the RAW files from my a7R in Lightroom, they always look awful. Is there a way to make Lightroom to initially show the pictures with approximately the same settings as the JPEG created by the camera?

In the Develop module go to Camera calibration (it's the panel on the bottom right) > Profile and then choose one of the Sony settings instead of "Adobe standard". This should do the trick.

I want them to look as they come..Raw. Because I must know what I can make better. If they look like the jpg, I do not see what i can make better.

You should check out RawTherapee. Now that will give you a real raw presentation of your file without even as much as a base curve! You will either like it and the flexibility it gives you or it will make you appreciate Lightroom and its default profile more. Either way it's win-win.
