Sony Apps & PSVita

I sometimes wonder why Sony have not implemented their photo/video apps on the Playstation Vita. It's a convenient device with lots of physical buttons, a decent screen with huge potential. Yes, I'm sure there are marketing reasons (one is a handheld games machine, the other a camera system) and probably OS reasons too... But it's a pity someone hasn't fully exploited the handheld's abilities in this area (at least as far as I am aware).
