Thank you friend!

I find that the A6000 in pair with good lens is simply amazing and the BEST value today in the market..

You carry it in a bag and nothing of what you see goes lost.

I tested it in pair with my (sold) 5D MKIII and i find a better image quality in the little Sony. The Canon is a more "complete" camera, obviously, but the A6000 gives to your heart the joy to make a click!

I was a canon fan, but after some with sony i understood that there is something much bigger and better happening, and now if I had to choose between canon 5d mk iii(or even 5ds) and sony a7s, i would go for the a7s for sure. The camera just feels right and looks real classy

Yes.. I was with Canon for over 15 years.. But really now It is a slow know-all company. Canon supremacy got lost in the last years.. They are now like blind. And they open their eyes only now for the strong innovation by Sony.

This is really a revolution. This is Photography 2.0

And i delight now as when, years ago, i was in the dark room to print!

  • 3 weeks later...

Also have the A6000 and A7RII -- selling off years of Canon., keeping a 100mm macro and 17-40mm, and 500mm. prime. Question ... given the A7RII prunes a shot to APS-C size, why retain the A6000, except as a backup, or burst rate, maybe size. Seems redundant, but cheap.

APSC frames from an A7R2 are 16MP vs 24MP from an 6000.

Not earthshaking, but that allows a lot more cropping, and also

more accurate MF from the 6000, due to the larger view of the

APSC recording area in the EVF [whether using the magnified

MF aid or not].

Hi all... exuse me for my delay..

Thank you kiawui!.. yours is a good job!
I found that A6000 works great with fast lens... so try to use some old faster and cheaper lens!

To BadRad.. i love the he S35 mode for video in A7RII, but in the same time i hate it for photo.
The
A7RII APSC frames for photo is bad and noisy.. especially at high Iso.
Much better The A6000.

A7RII is better in color rendition, but the 24 MP of the A6000 are very very good.

Also: i've ended the first video with both A7RII (4K) and A6000 (1080) and i can say that the A6000 is a very good second camera for video. The new codec makes the little Sony a little star. Sorry for the SLOG2... so i found some problems (in some clips) to match the color with the A7RII.

Also: the rendition on the A6000 on lenses like Canon 90 EF T/S 2,8, or Sigma 35 1,4 Art or Canon FD 50 1,2 is simply outstanding.. giving this lens more capabilities in magnification and possibility to shooting closer to the subject.
