From two days ago, the very first hike with my newly acquired Contax 28-85/3.3-4 Vario-Sonnar (on the A7r). At 28mm its performance falls a bit short of the (fantastic) 28mm Minolta M-Rokkor (Leica M mount), but not too much and the convenience of a zoom cannot obviously be overstated. Besides, it is not nearly as big or heavy as it may seem looking at the specs.

Again the Contax Vario-Sonnar 28-85/3.3-4 on the A7r, with 0 sharpening applied besides the usual 25% Lightroom "import" sharpening. I'm growing quite fond of this lens :)

Both @ 85mm (and yes, I got a thing for clouds!).
