Anyone using Canon 24-105mm with adapter on A7

I've got the Canon 24-105mm on the A7 utilizing a Photodiox adapter. Image quality is noticeably better than the 28-70mm to my eye, but forget AF. You'll occasionally find it possible in good light, but it's so slow you wouldn't want to do it. In low light it's not possible at all.

I map the focus button to the AF/MF-AEL button on the back of the camera and take it off the shutter release; I then use manual focus with peaking and check with DMF. That works well for me.

Did I mention AF is sloooow or impossible?
