Scarce Chaser

I think this is a Scarce Chaser Dragonfly but I'm quite willing to be corrected. Taken on A7 with LA-EA4 adapter, Kenko 1.4x extender (teleconverter) and Sigma 70-300mm OS lens at 200mm.The Kenko just happened to be be on when I grabbed the camera but it works quite well.

 

Shame about the missing wingtip.

Yes that's true. Latin name is Libellula depressa and it's a male. Poor creature one wing is damaged. Nice picture.
